Disruption is a known unknown. Organizations may not know when it will happen, but they know it’s coming. What can businesses and managers do to make themselves more resilient? What skills, processes, and methods can be learned that help organizations survive, even thrive through disruption? Two design leaders will share perspectives from the trenches of design in start-up, medium, and large enterprises.

About the Facilitators:

The workshop facilitators are a dynamic duo. Both are DMI Board Members and successful, generous, and thoughtful about sharing their expertise across industries.

Bob Schwartz- Vice President, Global Design/UX; General Electric Healthcare has been on the non-profit and for-profit side of business and is currently at GE Healthcare running global studios, navigating the headwinds of disruption and steering a winning course.

Kevin Bethune- Founder & Chief Creative Officer of dreams • design + life and TED speaker. Kevin was at Westinghouse, Nike, Booz, and Digital Ventures which was acquired by global powerhouse Boston Consulting Group then grew quickly from 10 people to 500+, where he became first a Director then a VP. Now he’s founded the think-tank DD + L.
