About the Facilitator:  

Dr. Travis J. Brown is the Senior Executive Assistant Dean at the School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering at Indiana University. He built and serves as the Academic Director of the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Program and Cross-curricular Education, as well as the Executive Director of the Shoemaker Innovation Center. Dr. Brown also serves as a Human-Computer Interaction Design Core faculty member, which entails teaching Design Strategy and Strategic Design. In addition to serving as an executive educator, prior to returning to Indiana University, Dr. Brown spent his career within the intersection of business and technology, focusing on performance management, entrepreneurship, corporate innovation, business analytics, software development, and interaction design in corporate and small business settings, specifically in corporate banking and life science operations, at companies including: Abbott Laboratories, Chase, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, and General Electric.
