Moderators Ellen Solomon and Milan Guenther will pose questions of some of the best minds from DMI and Intersection communities, as they discuss and deliberate strategies and tactics of how to work effectively across an enterprise, with multiple functions and disciplines. The questions will range from those covering organization design and structure to domain specific and everything in-between.

Whether you work inside a large enterprise or you are outside consulting w/ a large enterprise, it is important to understand who the key stakeholder disciplines are, and how their work supports or is a barrier to delivering good strategic design management and innovation.

Following the first phase of the panel discussion, we will break into facilitated group discussions. Each team will quickly get to know each other while dissecting items raised during the panel discussion.

Key Highlights of EACH Breakout group discussions will be shared back with the panelists for final closing discussion points.

Peter Bogaards
With almost three decades of experience in IA/UX, Peter is a recognized leader in the
community. In many years of project work at Razorfish and Informaat, he was responsible for the design of user experiences, including UI, site architecture, usability for clients like eBay, IBM, and Nokia. Furthermore, Peter has been a content curator avant-la-lettre in IA and related UX fields for over 20 years, choosing what he thinks is interesting, relevant or remarkable to share. Currently, Peter works as C/UX evangelist, editor and coach at Informaat experience design (Baarn, NL).

Marc Lange

Marc’s life is all about helping teams find out through research what to build for their users. Marc is a Product Strategy & UX Consultant, Founder and Google Head Expert, who has worked on consumer, enterprise and medical software products. He personally founded three companies, and consulted more than 20, on matters of product, innovation, marketing & UX, ranging from small startups to big multinational corporations. Marc is also consulting the German government on questions of the digital economy.

Malin Oreback
Malin is leading the Veryday team of strategists to challenge our customers in their work towards strong, innovative and meaningful product, service and user experience solutions.

She is a Design Strategist with 20+ years consultancy experience of crafting design strategies for companies in various industries, working with multinational clients on a daily basis; GE Healthcare, PepsiCo, 3M,Tetra Pak, Roche, Astra Zeneca and Atlas Copco.

Malin has an MBA in Design Management from London and she is a frequent speaker and lecturer on design strategy, design thinking and service design.

Erik Roscam Abbing

Erik is a consultant and teacher in brand driven innovation, customer experience and service
design. Erik is the founder of Zilver innovation in Rotterdam, the Netherlands where he and his team work for a variety of international clients Like Europcar, Virgin, Rabobank, Philips, Ebay, Volkswagen, Sara Lee, and Canon. Zilver’s services include customer insight research, brand development, innovation strategy, and customer experience design. Zilver works on the basis of proprietary methods and tools that are described in Erik’s book ‘Brand Driven Innovation’ (AVA Academia, 2010), as well as in several papers and publications he contributed to.
Erik is also very active as part time teacher at the school of Industrial Design Engineering at the Technological University of Delft, the Netherlands where he develops and teaches classes related to strategic design, design thinking and branding.

Niels Rishede Terkelsen
Niels is enterprise architect and PMO in the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science. He has 17 years of experience in IT-management, project management, strategy and business development and is a guest teacher at the IT University Copenhagen in enterprise architecture and global project management. He has been editing Greenlands current national e-government-strategy and done IT-strategic consulting in Morrocco and Kazakhstan. Niels is a pioneer in implementing the enterprise architecture method in government institutions and has established a network of government enterprise architects in Denmark.
