More About the Conference

As one of DMI's longest running events, DMI's Biennial Academic Design Management Research Conference creates an inclusive conversation among academics and practitioners from a variety of disciplines to examine the ways in which design management can inform innovation now and in the future. We aim to lay the groundwork to advance the state of the art in design management research, theory, and practice, and produce a significant contribution to the field through the paper presentations, conference proceedings and producing a special issue of the dmi:Journal.

Research Papers

All papers submitted are peer-reviewed in a double-blind process and considered for publication in the dmi:Journal, a globally recognized journal of Design Management. We welcome any research approach or type of paper including conceptual, empirical and critical literature reviews. However, we expect high standards of scholarship within the papers in terms of establishing the theoretical context, explicating the methods of inquiry, and reporting results that may aid other researchers.

Proceedings from the conference can be viewed here.
