The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) champions better buildings, communities and the environment through architecture and membership.

RIBA was established in 1834 in a pub! In 1934, the headquarter building was opened on Portland Place by King George V and Queen Mary. In addition to the stunning architecture and decoration you'll find galleries with exhibitions, an inviting bookshop, and an extensive library of architectural plans, drawings, books, and a cache of hidden photographic treasures.

Centrally located at 66 Portland Place in London, the nearest underground stations are:
  • Regent's Park (Bakerloo Line)
  • Great Portland Street (Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith and City Lines)
  • Oxford Circus (Victoria Line, Central and Bakerloo Lines)
