London’s East-End Retail Experience Walking Workshop

A half-day bespoke walking workshop providing you with the insights, tools and real-life examples to help you turn current challenges into profitable opportunities.

This half day (6hr) Retail Experience Walking Workshop through East London will provide you with hands-on insight into London’s best and most future-focused retail spaces where brands are reinventing their in-store experience, providing a more memorable and emotional experiences for their users.

Before the tour, download smartphone or tablet apps and begin with key stores’ omni-channel digital experience. Then an introductory presentation of key retail trends will kick off the workshop helping to put all the spaces visited in context. Leaders will detail why their brand made the decision to create more interactive user experiences and how it was done.

Lunch at a new innovative restaurant will be the chance to get hands-on with the “eating experience” meet fellow workshop walkers and discuss experience trends.

Then visit the most exciting and creative small-scale spaces in the East End. Each stop will include a discussion on the experience provided and ROI for the brand. After a mid-afternoon coffee, the tour will conclude at The Frameworks, where DMI "Making Change" conference attendees may attend a welcome reception.

Facilitator

Cate Trotter, owner of Insiders’ Trends will be your guide for the day. Cate is an experienced trend spotter who makes monthly trend presentations at the British Library as well as to private clients such as Chanel, Philips and JWT.

This walking workshop is organized by Belinda Picaud and Antoinette Lemens from Lemensearch (http://www.lemensearch.com/?lang=en), Paris, both professionals in the world of design and who speak a number of languages, they can also provide support for those who don’t fully master English.

The workshop is approximately six hours in length, with lunch and a short break at one of our destinations for participants to have a bite or drink if they are so inclined. As the day will be spent walking from site to site through one of Europe’s most beautiful cities (which is known for its temperamental weather), please wear appropriate attire.

The maximum number of participants per group is 12—therefore we strongly encourage you register now.

The meeting point to begin the Retail Experience Workshop will be confirmed after registration.
