In practicing Innovation & Entrepreneurship, whether for start-ups or well-established corporations, the Innovation process must precede the Entrepreneurial process to provide the value proposition that can lead to successful business outcomes.

session description

Innovation! Entrepreneurship! Lean Start-Up! Design Thinking! Intrapreneurship! Disruptive this - Disruptive that! These pervasive terms seem to been every headline, making all of our heads spin.  It might make as much sense if we said beach balls, socks, rubber chicken, duct tape, and string! In this session, learn the psychology and foundations of innovation.

  • Map how designers can deliver greater value through an understanding of cognitive biases.
  • Understand how to drive innovation through the integration of design thinking, lean start-up, and business modeling.
  • Discuss how, by defining a clear value proposition using a design mindset, innovation will precede entrepreneurship.
