BIOGRAPHY:

Ryan Eder is Founder & CEO of IncludeFitness, a digital health company providing fitness technology to improve outcomes while lowering costs. He is an internationally awarded product designer with over 10 years of experience in the sporting goods, medical, housewares, industrial, and consumer electronics industries. While attending the University of Cincinnati in 2006, Ryan witnessed a man in a wheelchair struggle while working out. This inspired a concept for an inclusive fitness platform as his senior thesis. A year later, that concept was recognized with Gold, Best in Show, and People’s Choice in Businessweek’s International Design Excellence Awards; an award given to Apple, Nike, and Tesla in subsequent years. Utilizing this recognition, Ryan spent 10 years and raised millions of dollars to expand his technology, build his company, and transform the delivery of fitness & rehabilitation.

Before transitioning full time, Ryan moonlit IncludeFitness for seven years while working as a product designer for PriorityDesigns. Clients included Nike & Taylormade Golf, Coca-Cola, GE Appliances, Stryker Medical and Ethicon Endosurgery. He also spearheaded a partnership with an Asian manufacturer to develop, patent and produce a line of ‘smart’ kitchen products with a royalty structure and placement into Target, Sur la Table, Crate & Barrel, Williams-Sonoma, Walmart, Bed Bath & Beyond and numerous online retailers.

Ryan holds a BS in Industrial Design from the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art & Planning.
