Cambridge Innovation Walk
sunday, September 25th, 2016
Learn about the past and explore the future of science and technology in one of the most innovative square miles on the planet: Kendall Square, Cambridge, home of MIT and to some of the most inventive minds and influential technological advances in history.
We’ll walk through Kendall Square and around the many offices of innovation companies (from Google, Microsoft, Biogen, Novartis, Facebook, etc), and keep up with the cutting edge research happening in the research institutes like the Koch (cancer research), and the Broad (genomics). We'll peek into The Broad, the Koch, Akamai and the Media Lab lobbies; all four have interesting displays.
Along the way, our guide will share some history and humor - this is a enlightening way to meet colleagues, learn new areas, and get some fresh air and exercise before the start of the Design Leadership Conference.
The walking tour will last approximately 1.5 hours.
