This section explains in more depth the functionality of this site. If, after viewing the Help section, you are experiencing problems using the site, please contact the DMI webmaster.

Log In and Registration

The log in function (located on the left side of each page) enables DMI to know whether a user is a member or a registered guest on the site. Based on that information, we can:

•  grant access to information on the site restricted to members or registered guests

•  populate order forms with information in a user’s profile

•  determine the pricing to charge members versus nonmembers

•  confirm transactions by e-mail

Registration enables a user to register as a guest on the site by giving an e-mail address and creating a password. Additional information provided on order forms is automatically saved to a registered guest’s profile.

Updating Your Profile

You can change your information at any time. We will ask you to verify your identity before you can update your profile.

Passwords

You can also change your password at any time. If you forgot your password, it can be e-mailed to you.

Error Messages

Login Failed: This message appears when the e-mail address or password does not match what we have in your profile. If you are unsure what your password is, we can send it to you by e-mail. Just go to the Log In window and click on “Forgot your password?” If you still receive this message, contact the webmaster.

The log in function uses a temporary cookie to remember that you are logged in. If you are unable to log in it may be due to your computer being set to not allow cookies. Try allowing cookies to log in. The cookie is removed after you leave the site..
