A Successful Week of Design Management in Paris

DMI recently held two very successful conferences in Paris: an education conference, "Design Thinking: New Challenges for Designers, Managers and Organizations;" and the Design/Management Europe 12 Conference, "Design: The Linking Force."

The education conference featured over 80 presentations, representing 28 countries and six continents. Comments from attendees include: "This was a great conference with a very wide spectrum of issues discussed and ideas generated all worthy of more intensive research effort." "Fantastic discussion and papers!" Selected papers from the conference will be published in a future issue of DMI's academic publication, the Design Management Journal.

This seminar will address the fundamental issues of sustainable design and introduce a broad range of frameworks and concepts for tackling the often fundamental changes that are required in how a company approaches design and manufacturing.

You will receive an intensive introduction to the broad topic of sustainable design, and the lively format will be both inspiring and pragmatic in nature.
