Google and Yahoo have spent billions on search engines to bring us the information we need. But consider that there's more than one way to present that information-it all depends on what kind of search you're mounting and, perhaps, on how visually oriented you are. Viewzi is a new kind of search company that focuses on how people experience information. That doesn't mean developing a better search engine; it means developing a better way to view search results. The results are a series of custom-tailored scenes whose look and feel changes depending on the intent of the search. It's an impressive innovation that promises to reshape the internet landscape, and to give consumers more say in the search process. Stephen Anderson, Viewzi's VP of product strategy and design, offers an overview.
