Creating Meaningful Brand Experiences and Producing Customer Happiness - Outline

Day One: Strategies for Designing Meaningful Brand Experiences (8:30 – 5:00)

On day one we lay the foundation for creating meaningful brand experiences. Through dialogue and practice we focus on:

  • How to develop brand truth

  • How to get consumers to want to spend time with your brand

  • How to find the experiences that matter most to customers

  • What it means to create a disruptive experience through functional, emotional, and social innovation

  • How cultural capital can produce meaning in consumers’ lives 

Day Two: Producing Happiness, by Design (8:30 – 4:00)
On day two, we build upon the foundation laid on day one and go deeply into how to produce happy customers.

  • The difference between producing happiness and producing loyalty

  • The four basic design dispositions for producing happiness

  • How designing happiness affects culture, individuality, and choice making

  • The functional, emotional, and social jobs to do to enhance happiness

  • Frameworks for gathering insights about, designing for, and measuring happy customers

  • How to apply frameworks to your brand’s experience

Day Three: The Workshop (Optional)
Day three is about application to your company’s particular situation. Using case examples, workshop exercises, and the questions you have from the insights you’ve gained, we will apply the seminar frameworks to your issues and then as a workshop team we will work to provide practical solutions for the issues you need solved. Solutions for you might include:

  • An action plan customized for your organization on how to address key issues

  • More background on how to use the frameworks to help your organization

  • Opportunity areas and recommendations for creating your own meaningful brand experiences

9:00 – 10:00:    Your Company and Case Studies
Dave will review your situation and using case study examples help you articulate a challenge you’d like to address. We will apply what we learned during days 1 and 2.

 

10:00 – 11:00:    Developing an Action Plan
He will help you think about what are the steps that you need to take to create an action plan to address your situation.

 

11:00 – 12:00:    Client/Consultant
Based on the action plan, you will play both client and consultant roles and you are provided with a series of questions to address. You work in small teams to come up with solutions.

 

12:00 – 1:00:    One–on-One Time
You will have one on one time with Dave to work through any topic you’d like to cover.
