Carole Bilson
As Vice President, Global Design & Usability and Technology Support Operations, Carole currently oversees two departments: The award-winning Global Design; and Usability and Technology Support Operations within Global Mailstream Engineering, at Pitney Bowes in Connecticut. The mission of her department is to deliver leading edge global design solutions that are easy to use.

 

In addition to her regular duties, she has been appointed for several special assignments, including:

  • Appointed by the CIO to coordinate the development of company operating principles.

  • Appointed by the CEO to lead a task force with the company treasurer on a world headquarters building redesign / change management project.

  • Led a company-wide council to identify ways to improve the user experience. As a result of those efforts, a new department has been formed at PB called Customer Experience.

  • Appointed to the CEO Council, a group of 40 senior executives who contribute to strategy development of the company.

Prior to PB, Carole worked at the Eastman Kodak Company in various product development and marketing management roles. Her most notable assignment was as Worldwide Marketing Manager to deliver the award-winning Picturemaker, the photo kiosk that now delivers over a billion dollars in revenue each year for Kodak.

 

In addition to being the holder of two patents, Carole has been very active in the community, and she has received numerous awards and recognition. Carole has spoken extensively, at conferences, universities, and has been featured in several television documentaries. Recently she spoke on behalf of PB at the Connecticut state capitol to push against cuts to the R&D Tax Credits; a benefit that provides funding for R&D Innovation in corporations.
