Integrative Design: Design for social impact
Geoff Mulgan, Director, Young Foundation
How are design methods being used to address social problems? What new skills do designers need to learn to become useful for social innovation? This talk will look at experiences from around the world, at the lessons from the work of programs such as EMUDE in Europe, the work of companies like IDEO globally, and the growing engagement of service design companies in UK public services. And it will set out what “integrative design” could mean for the future.
