Innovation through Design: The Creative Synthesis

Successful design is achieved through the convergence of different worlds: technology, sociology, psychology, economics… Today, consumer behaviour, society, and culture are researched more deeply than ever before, but we still rely on inspiration and imagination. In fact, design is the creative synthesis of the different functions (R&D, marketing, supply chain, product lifecycle management) involved in the innovation process. Marc Giget will highlight the concept of creative synthesis and the contribution of imagination and inspiration to the design of innovative products and services.
