The ability for design and designers to be the linking force greatly depends on the ability to link design research with design practice and vice versa. Too often, these two spheres work in parallel, rather than combining insights and knowledge to generate even stronger arguments for a design approach. This presentation offers a survey of the leading design research into the relationships, processes, and practices of design and management from the International DMI Education Conference.
