Bendt Bendtsen, Minister for Economic and Business Affairs
Bendt Bendtsen has been member of the Danish Parliament since 1994. He has been leader of the Conservative Party and the Conservative group in the Parliament since 1999. He was appointed Minister for Economic and Business Affairs in 2001.
The Minister will present the Danish design policy and explain how design promotion is an active instrument in the Danish industrial and business policy.

Janus Krarup, Director, National Agency for Enterprise and Construction: Improving Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Design Policy
The agency is part of the Ministry of Economic and Business Affairs and is responsible for implementing the Danish design policy.
Janus Krarup will draw a portrait of the Danish design sector and of the use of design in the industry.
