The 6th European International Design
Management Conference
University College Dublin
Dublin, Ireland
March 11-13, 2002
Overview
This
March, brand managers, marketing directors, academics, and industrial
and graphic design managers will gather in Dublin to examine the
importance of interactions among brands, products, and communications
in creating and executing a successful business and design strategy.
Today’s economic environment demands intelligent, timely, and multifaceted
decisions regarding interactions between an organization’s product
or service, customer, staff, and brand. To succeed, organizations
must make the most of every interaction and brand touchpoint, both
internally and externally. To accomplish this, designers and managers
need to be well-informed, understand multiple viewpoints, and be
extremely effective in articulating their vision.
DMI’s 6th European conference will be held at the Graduate School
of Business, University College Dublin (UCD). This event is being
supported by the Design Unit of Enterprise Ireland. Lodging for
the event will be at the Herbert Park Hotel in downtown Dublin,
and there will be a special reception held at the Guinness Storehouse.
General registration for this conference is now open.
