Following Disney’s lead in “themed” design, more and more designers are creating “themed” experiences—sometimes with mixed results. This presentation will address the value and importance of storytelling in design, and maintaining the theme throughout the design process. This design principle is the cornerstone of creating consistent and compelling guest experiences, and this same principle can be applied when designing for a brand. A good story and an immersive experience is a powerful way to present and serve a brand. From concept to completion, the story paves the way.
