Water: The Foundation for Sustainability
Gregory J. Koch, Managing Director, Global Water Stewardship, Environment & Water Resources, The Coca-Cola Company
Demands on freshwater resources are growing rapidly, creating competition and uncertainty among water users and jeopardizing the ecological health of freshwater ecosystems. Climate change, population growth, and economic development are expected to worsen the situation in many areas. Water is the main ingredient in all of The Coca-Cola Company’s products, and essential to our operations and the well-being of the communities and environments where we operate. This session will explore the water crises and the response by Coca-Cola.
