The Motorola brand was confused and its share of the mobile phone
market was being rapidly lost. Jim Wicks was faced with the complex
challenge of utilizing design to focus on the product experience,
and innovation to build the brand and create a market advantage
in the extremely competitive market of mobile communications. Jim
