Jeremy Moon started the Icebreaker brand in 1995 at the age of
25. Since then, Icebreaker has grown to become New Zealand’s
largest outdoor clothing producer and is available in 1500 stores
across 20 countries. Made from merino wool from the Southern Alps
of New Zealand, Icebreaker explores “our relationship to nature
and to each other.” This presentation will discuss how structuring
the organization to be design-led and replacing research with intuition
has resulted in 1000% growth over the last five years.
