Important Update: As of Thursday, September
30 the conference is sold out. Please do not reserve a room at the
Chatham Bars Inn unless we have confirmed your conference registration.
Room and Rate Information
The run of the house hotel rate, which includes your lodging, full
breakfast, lunch and three course dinner daily, is USD $260.00 per
night for single occupancy and $173.00 (per person) per night for
double occupancy. Couples may register at the single occupancy rate
if one member is not attending the conference and does not plan
to eat all meals at the hotel. Individual meal tickets for these
people will be available for purchase during conference registration.
These rates are subject to a 9.7% state and local room tax. Please
note that denim is not permitted and jackets and/or collared shirts
are requested in the Main Dining Room after 6:00 PM Requests for
early arrival or extended stays will be accommodated on a space
available basis at the regular rate and will include lodging only.
The hotel check-in time is 4 pm. If you are arriving by taxi or
limo, a bell closet is available for storage of your luggage if
your room is not available.
The Chatham Bars Inn now has wireless Internet access in all rooms.
Cancellation Policy
All room reservations must be booked directly with Chatham Bars
Inn and not through Design Management Institute. A deposit equivalent
to one night's stay is required at the time your reservation is
made. The reminder of your stay, excluding room taxes, will be charged
thirty (30) days prior to your arrival. As is the case with most
resort hotels, your payment will not be credited if departure is
prior to the expiration of your reservation or in the case of delayed
arrival. Reservations cancelled less than 45 days (September 9,
2004) prior to arrival, will result in the forfeiture of your payment.
For reservations cancelled more than 30 days prior to your arrival
will be refunded minus a USD $50 cancellation fee. MasterCard, Visa,
Diners Club, and American Express are accepted for payment during
your stay.
Travel Arrangements
The Chatham Bars Inn is located 19 miles from the Hyannis Airport,
100 miles from Boston's Logan International Airport, and 102 miles
from the T.F. Green airport in Providence, RI. Car rental or limo
service is available at all these locations.
