| The 11th International Forum on
Design Management Research and Education
Strategies, Resources & Tools for Design
Management Leadership
Northeastern University
Boston, Massachusetts, USA
June 10-12, 2002
The focus of the Forum will be on stimulating research and sharing
insight about leadership, design processes, related tools, and resources.
Emphasis will be placed on understanding the theoretical and practice-based
aspects of design that foster leadership, and similarly, on leadership
that fosters good design. How far can theory go in understanding
design management leadership? On the other hand, how far can design
practice-based research go in understanding design management leadership?

related to the field of design management. The Forums mission
is to facilitate communication and encourage collaboration among
its members; to encourage research that will result in practical
applications in both education and practice; and to help members
integrate design management issues into existing educational programs.
Selected papers from the Forum are published in the Academic
Review.
