Academic Forum

The 11th International Forum on Design Management Research and Education

Strategies, Resources & Tools for Design Management Leadership

Northeastern University

Boston, Massachusetts, USA

June 10-12, 2002

The focus of the Forum will be on stimulating research and sharing insight about leadership, design processes, related tools, and resources. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the theoretical and practice-based aspects of design that foster leadership, and similarly, on leadership that fosters good design. How far can theory go in understanding design management leadership? On the other hand, how far can design practice-based research go in understanding design management leadership?
