DMI is proud to announce that Darrel Rhea, CEO of Cheskin Added Value, has been appointed to the Board of Directors. A pioneer of customer-centric design and consumer-led strategy, Darrel has spent the last 30 years working on the front lines of innovation with the world's top corporations, helping them to drive growth strategies. By integrating the disciplines of social science, business analytics and design methods at Cheskin, he is contributing to the reinvention of business consulting.

Darrel has been an active member of DMI since the mid-80's and a member of the Advisory Council for the last decade. He has written numerous DMI Review articles, spoken at many DMI conferences, and leads the popular DMI seminar, Design Research for Product and Service Innovation. He has spoken at conferences for organizations such as ICOGRADA, IDSA, AIGA, World Economic Forum, Forbes CIO Conference, and many others. He has lectured for many leading academic organizations and is co-author of the book, Making Meaning: How Successful Business Deliver Meaningful Customer Experiences.
